Theme Party Invitations Reviews & Guide

By. Weerad D. Arma.

Theme Party Invitations are sent out for a particular purpose which is to inform potential guests that there will be a party. Most party hosts send out invitations after carefully considering various things about the invitations. You need to consider a few things when planning to create or send out invitations to people. Firstly, you must include the correct information in the invitations. Wrong information will only mislead the guests. The most vital details of an invitation include the following.

Theme Party Invitations

Theme Party Invitations

The first most important information on an invitation is the venue, date and time. You will be inspired by the particular theme of the party that you are working with. If you are not working with a particular theme, then you can still make the invitation special. You can design your very own invitations by using you computer at home. Theme party invitations need to have clear wording. Your family should assist you when you are designing the invitations. Finally party invitations will be sent through hand delivery, through email or even through snail mail. When you use great invitations, you will have set the pace and your party will go smoothly as planned.

Ideas On A Theme Party

We’ve worked on a few cocktail themed parties – martini, champagne, cosmopolitan, tequila, and liquor are all popular theme choices. There are a lot of resources online for planning a St. Patty’s Day or Irish theme party – including menu and decorating ideas – and you could easily incorporate that into your Hennessy themed party.

I have some great ideas for your invitations. Of course you could always do an Irish themed invitation (green, shamrocks, Celtic imagery, etc). But for something really creative, you could do an invitation incorporating a Hennessy bottle or snifter glass. You could print the invitation information on the label of the bottle.
If you want to get even more creative, you could cut the invitation out in the shape of the bottle/snifter. The invitation bottle would then be sent in a shipping box instead of an envelope — very unique and truly memorable.

You should check out search engines for some great ideas about Hennessey. You could also incorporate this into your invitation and send a recipe of one of the fun Hennessey drinks such as Hennessey Brown Sugar with the actual invitation.

A nice touch for your guests and a good way to introduce the theme. Then you can play this up on the invite wording by saying something like, “A Recipe for Fun – Ingredients: A Beloved Birthday Boy, Several Great Friends, and Delicious Food and Drink; Directions: Mix Well and Serve Chilled on Friday, May 23 at 7 p.m. at Tessa’s House (replace with your party details). I’m a stationer so I’m biased, but I recommend you also send snail mail invitations. You may want to design your invitations to coordinate with the evites available online.

Decorating/Favor Ideas:

Depending on the size of your guest list and budget, I think personalized or engraved snifters would make excellent favors. Another idea are the popular wine charms popular at parties to allow guests to easily identify their glass. These are pretty inexpensive and are functional for the party, as a well as a great takeaway for your guests. Another idea is to give guests liquor filled chocolates – these are really popular and quite tasty.
